About us
A Kochi studio that plans like family
Mullappoo started in 2014 when Divya R. and Thomas K. planned the weddings of three cousins in a single season and realised how much families were juggling: halls, florists, caterers, photographers, priests, transport, and relatives arriving from the Gulf.
We named the studio after the jasmine that shows up at almost every Kerala celebration, whatever the faith. Today we are a team of eleven planners, designers and coordinators working out of Kadavanthra.
We take a limited number of events each month, so the planner you meet first is the person on site on the day.

One written quote
Every line item is listed with the partner's name. No surprise charges after the event.
Your customs, your timings
We plan around the muhurtham, the church service or the nikah, not the other way round.

How we work
From the first call to the day itself
Five steps, the same for a 60-guest engagement and a 1,000-guest reception.
Week 1
Step 1: First call
A 30-minute call or a visit to our Kadavanthra office. We note the date, guest count, customs, budget range and what matters most to you.
Week 1–2
Step 2: Proposal and quote
Within five working days you get a written plan: venue options, decor mood board and an itemised quote with every partner named.
2–4 months before
Step 3: Venue visits and design
We visit shortlisted venues with you, finalise decor, menus with the caterer and the photography shot list.
1 week before
Step 4: Run sheet and rehearsal
A minute-by-minute run sheet goes to the family and every partner. We walk through the venue and timings a few days before.
The day
Step 5: The day itself
Our team arrives before the florists and leaves after the last vehicle. You get one coordinator's number for every question.
